Estate Development Manager

(This is a full time, permanent post of 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be appointed within the SEO salary range of £35,540 - £40,411 per annum.)

We are now seeking a talented and experienced Estate Development Manager. The NFC currently owns over 350 hectares with ambitious plans to double this over the next five years. You will be responsible for leading on our acquisition plans to meet ambitious forest creation targets as part of the Governments Nature for Climate Fund programme. As well as overseeing the establishment and management of our growing estate and leading on future development opportunities to help deliver the National Forest Vision, and our Corporate Plan.

The role requires innovation, financial acumen, and a commercially focused approach to develop long-term and viable plans that support wider environmental, social, and economic outcomes. Strong and effective relationships will be developed with national and local strategic partners, land agents and other landowners.
