To define and manage the strategy, organisation, profitability and resourcing of all UK offshore project activities

Reports to MD Energy Renewables and forms part of ER WP OF PM management group.
Overall responsibility for UK Offshore Project Department.
Manages a team of Project Managers and support staff.
Internal and external network at all levels – up to and including Sector level

Management responsibility for team in accordance with PM@Siemens.
Monitors and takes control of the overall operation of the group including safety, profitability, quality and budget.
Provides commercial expertise and overviews business-related aspects of projects within management group

• Actively promote PM@Siemens.
• Responsible for personal development and fulfilling potential of team.
• Mentoring team and ensuring commercial integrity of all projects.

Upward feedback, PMP, Management standards

Directs the overall operation of group activities in the execution of UK offshore project portfolio, including commercial profitability and budget
• Customer liaison – ensuring optimisation of profit.
• Supports and advises on the legal and commercial aspects of contracts
Lead monthly project review meetings for his portfolio (PSM)

Customer survey

Maximise the contribution to sales and operating profit of the division and the group, through risk management, optimum allocation of human and financial resources and nurturing local supplier partnerships; overviews business-related aspects of projects within management group.
• Ongoing overview of progress of all projects ensuring that the company achieves its profit margin and projects are completed on time.
• Risk management – manage risk of Liquidated damages by achieving targets and taking appropriate action.
• Responsible for budgets for individual projects.
• Provide regular input to and participate in the company’s revenue forecast process ensuring revenue is accurately forecast, achieved and collected.

PMP, NCC, Commercial Forecasting

Plan, budget, resource, execute, manage and monitor the Zero Harm safety culture throughout projects;
 - Provide leadership and to promote responsible attitudes towards HSE and Zero Harm culture.                                                            - Ensure adherence to CDM and other legislative requirements for the project, including documentation.
 - Implement, maintain and communicate the strict adherence to the organisation's environmental, health and safety and security procedures.
 - Lead, encourage, document and monitor subcontractor, supplier and site team regime of safety audit, inspection and progress meetings to drive a continually improving safety culture
 - Collate, communicate and improve site safety performance to encourage an open and continually improving safety culture
 - Manage the collation, feedback and pursuit of WTG snagging issues and design safety improvement requirements to ensure customer and legislative compliance of project.
