Environmental Sustainability Manager

Here at Raven Housing, we’re passionate about environmental sustainability issues – and have achieved considerable success in this area. For example, we’re responsible for the first level 5 eco-homes in the UK, and have been one of the first housing associations to covert old homes to water saving measures.

Small but highly respected, we’re widely seen as innovators and pioneers – in this area of our work, as in so many others. And in this high-profile role, you’ll build on what we’ve achieved to date. Providing visible and inspirational leadership, you’ll increase our overall awareness, competence and commitment in the field of environmental sustainability.

Managing and co-ordinating our work in this area, you’ll initiate projects, negotiate their funding and oversee their implementation. You’ll also lead on all the environmental aspects of our conversions and new builds. It will be up to you to generate positive PR and coverage, and to ensure that tenants and colleagues understand the importance of environmental issues.

Throughout your work, you’ll aim to reduce our carbon footprint – the smaller it is, the more successful you’ve been. You’ll also improve our residents’ quality of life, enabling them to save money on their utility bills.
