Provide day-to-day support on safety, health and environmental management tasks for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Provide content development and technical support for a team of safety and health experts. Monitor and track the progress of safety, health and environmental inspections at all EPA facilities in the nation through project management software.  Support with drafting, reviewing, and editing technical reports, including document findings and recommendations. Provide technical database support on all open audit findings for EPA facilities.
 
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 
-1+ years of experience in the safety, health and/or environmental management field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software required
- Knowledge of safety and health inspections
- Ability to efficiently prepare correspondence, briefing point papers, letters, and equivalent documents
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, graphically, and visually
- Ability to organize, schedule, and facilitate technical meetings and working groups
- Experience with and ability to work well in a team environment
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of environmental management systems
- Ability to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- BA or BS degree in a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
