URS Germany is part of URS Corporation, a leading global environmental and engineering consultancy with offices in over 30 countries. We are now recruiting an environmental professional who will be responsible for Environmental Impact Assessments and Natural and Cultural Resource Management, mainly with our US DOD clients. You will manage a range of projects in the areas of environmental reviews and environmental management systems. Furthermore you will update and implement conservation management plans. You should have a degree in natural science (biology, botany, ecology, natural resources) from an accredited college or university and at least 1-3 years relevant experience and a sufficient background in historical and cultural issues, laws and regulations. Furthermore you should have the ability/ knowledge in conducting environmental impact assessment. Very good knowledge of the English and German language is a necessity. Experience in U.S. military projects and/or U.S. regulations would be a plus. This contract will be limited for 12 months. |
