Environmental Scientist

My client, a large multi-disciplinary consulting company, is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to provide environmental advice, manage environmental processes and prepare the required technical documentation on a contract basis in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Key Performance Areas
• Conduct and manage EIS's & SEAs and other environmental investigations according to the applicable legislation.
• Provide input for strategic assessment, policy development and reporting.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans. 
• Conduct environmental monitoring, review and audits. 

Minimum requirements:
• Indigenous to Rivers State.
• Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Management or equivalent.
• 5- 10 yrs post graduate experience.
• On site construction environmental monitoring experience of large construction sites.
• EIA process and public consultation experience.
• Excellent management and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.
