Key Role: Provide project management support for environmental contracting efforts by a government military client for engineering and the environment, including programmatic and technical support in providing contract preparation and program management oversight to both environmental and infrastructure projects, including providing quality assurance, environmental oversight, and technical support for environmental and construction projects. Provide task support within program development and support, data gathering, analysis, testing, and concept development, contractual and environmental regulatory compliance, project scheduling, requirements documentation, project acquisition strategy, and technical support for base-level regulatory actions. Provide direct interface and frequent communications with government points of contact and multi-disciplinary teams, including environmental and construction contractors, regulators, and environmental and construction contract specialists. This position is located at Andrews AFB in Camp Springs, MD. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -4+ years of experience with providing programmatic and technical assistance to government programs geared towards environmental project and contract management, requirements development, CERCLA actions, and environmental remediation -1+ years of experience with environmental restoration -1+ years of experience in working with the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE), the Air Force, or another DoD entity -Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word -Knowledge of CERCLA environmental clean up regulations -Knowledge of construction and program management scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project -Ability to analyze and interpret environmental and engineering plans and specifications -Ability to analyze and interpret state and federal regulatory requirements -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with stream restoration, landfill design, and geotechnical and underground storage tank (UST) investigations a plus -Knowledge of innovative technologies, products, and services that are cost-effective throughout the facility life cycle a plus -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -Possession of excellent presentation skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
