Gardline Environmental Limited (GEL) is a member of the Gardline Marine Sciences Limited Group of Companies and is a successful Environmental contractor conducting major integrated offshore projects on a worldwide basis and inshore projects for major clients in the UK and overseas.

The office based Environmental Report QC Coordinator will oversee the quality control of all environmental data and reports. QC will involve checking the statistical analysis of marine environmental data, as well as the scientific interpretation of the data, which is to be reported to our clients. The environmental reports will be based on field data collected by in-house Environmental Field Scientists, analysed by internal and external laboratories and written by in-house Environmental Report Writers. Following client comments, you will complete the final QC of all client deliverables, and in conjunction with the Environmental Report Manager, you will provide feedback to all Environmental Report Writers on performance and quality.

The role will require you to produce PDF versions of reports using Adobe Acrobat for dissemination to clients as well as maintain quality control records for reporting and report production. You will be a client point of contact for report submissions and QC comments. You may be required to carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

The successful candidate will possess an honours degree in an environmental science and have established marine environmental report writing experience along with proven scientific writing capability. You will be experienced in the interpretation of physical, chemical and biological results from water and soil samples and have good mega/macrofaunal identification skills.

Ideally you will have in-depth experience of all Microsoft office packages such particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as experience with the use of Adobe Acrobat, Primer, Surfer and ArcGIS software.
