This is a genuine career role for any aspiring Environmental professional looking to continue to develop their leadership experiences and increase their level of responsibility through assuming accountability for major project delivery. Umwelt is securely backed with a healthy and strong client base and solid pipeline of work across multiple sectors including mining, extractive industries, infrastructure, defence and urban development. The prospective Environmental Planning & Assessments Project Leader will be responsible for leading proposals, project management delivery and client relationships for EIS projects, particularly in the resources sector. You will work alongside well-recognised Professionals with strong relationships in resources (primarily mining and extractive industries) and other sectors, and have the opportunity to mentor high quality Senior, mid and junior staff members across multiple offices.

To be successful in this role you possess extensive demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary environmental impact assessment projects for major projects and State Significant Development, preferably in NSW. You have a strong reputation and recognition within the industry and have established relationships with a range of stakeholders including relevant government agencies. You are able to demonstrate strong technical aptitude, business development and project management skills. Naturally, you will bring with you previous Environmental Planning and Assessment consulting experience across a range of industry sectors which must include resources (mining and extractive industry). You possess appropriate tertiary qualifications, exceptional communication skills, and extensive demonstrated experience in delivering integrated EIS project outcomes.

If this opportunity sounds of interest, we would be delighted to discuss the role in meaningful detail with you. Direct contact – Liz Floyd 0450 692 866.
