Environmental Officer

The Cassowary Coast Regional Council is currently seeking applicants for the position of Environmental Officer.

The salary range for this position is between $54,302.14 - $61,131.06 Level 4-5, QLD Local Government Officers’ Award & Cassowary Coast Regional Councils Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

Reporting to the Supervisor Environmental Management, this position will be involved in working with a range of experienced staff, contributing professional knowledge and advice and providing support for a wide variety of projects relating to environmental requirements for both Council’s internal operations and external businesses and customers.

This position can be the career entry point for a graduate but it is desirable to have Relevant Local Government experience and/or one (1) year post graduation experience in field of Natural Resource Management or Environmental Protection.
