Environmental Lawyer

This exciting and challenging role is designated for a lawyer to make a contribution to developing and delivering our key legal cases in the field of environment. This will involve preparation of legal strategies and submission, analyzing Polish, EU and other international legislation. The person will be also involved in drafting project strategies and their implementation in Poland. The successful candidate will be required to maintain partnerships with other NGOs, initiate and sustain communication with local partners and support their campaigns with expert legal knowledge – also by public presentations or reviewing press communication.

About you

The successful candidate will have master degree in Law and will be ready to contribute to strategic legal thinking, advocacy and creative problem solving in a public interest law setting. You will be able to apply legal skills creatively able to convey complex legal ideas to a wide variety of audiences. You are also committed to environmental issues and support for groups of active citizens. You are open and positive person with an out-of-box approach to problem solving. Independence, reliability, flexibility, willingness to travel as well as high degree of work ethic are your character traits. Apart of that you will also be fluent in English both in speech and writing. Previous experience with environmental law is an advantage.
