URS is recruiting Environmental Engineers/Scientists to join our team to support our services to the U.S. Army at their Garrisons in Baumholder, Grafenwöhr, Heidelberg and Wiesbaden.
Responsibilities will include directly supporting the garrison Environmental Management Divisions in various environmental programs/areas (e.g., hazardous materials/waste management, solid waste management, other environmental areas) and in the implementation of their environmental management systems.
The candidates for these positions will be physically located at one of the specified garrisons for the contract period. (1 year)
You should have a degree in environmental engineering/sciences or similar with 2-3 years of work experience. Very good English writing and speaking skills is a necessity. General understanding of German and US environmental regulations and ISO 14001 will be a plus.
