An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, a specialist remediation contractor with offices based nationally. It is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to assist with projects throughout the UK. This is an excellent chance to develop your career in the application of remediation techniques. You will be responsible for the geo-environmental aspects behind many of the projects and assist the contracts and project management team in the delivery of contaminated land remediation projects. You will design and undertake site investigations, sampling exercises and supervise small remediation projects. In addition, you may also be responsible for environmental and remediation aspects on larger remediation projects. Site based work will occupy around 70% of your time. A BSc, MSc or PhD in a geological, chemical or environmental sciences subject is essential as well as theoretical knowledge and practical experience in contaminated land and groundwater remediation.
