Environmental Engineer Summer Internship

Bayer CropScience is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer Intern for the summer semester for our Kansas City, MO location. Relocation assistance will not be provided. The primary responsibility of this role is to support environmental compliance projects (e.g. permits, regulations, etc.). May also include projects related to the facility's wastewater treatment plant.

The incumbent will:

• Read and interpret environmental regulations;
• Write summaries of findings and possibly provide recommendations;
• Review files;
• File documents.

Qualifications

:

The selected candidate is required to possess the following:

• Pursuing a bachelor degree program with an emphasis in Environmental or Chemical Engineering;
• An interest in obtaining environmental engineering experience;
• Ability to comprehend environmental regulations;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
• Ability and willingness to work 40 hours/week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing environmental experience.
