Environmental Engineer I The Environmental Engineer will support Coastal Erosion Hazard Area (CEHA) tasks and engineering tasks for the Flood Protection Program, and provide various services in support of US Army Corps of Engineers coastal projects on behalf of NYS DEC. This position will be based out of the NYS DEC office in Stony Brook, NY. Duties will include:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering, or a related field. Applicants should have a New York State Professional Engineer’s license and current registration, or an equivalent license, as well as two years of full-time experience in professional environmental engineering.
