We will challenge you to reach your full potential and provide a solid foundation for your future development. We are a values-driven consultancy and as such, our selection criteria are simple — we are looking for a team player who values service, integrity, innovation and excellence, and has a strong commitment to their own personal and professional growth.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of contaminated land assessment and remediation projects, predominantly in the energy, transport and industry market sector.  Knowledge of contaminated land assessment procedures and the Western Australian Act (and management series) is required, as is experience in conducting such investigations.

On a day to day basis, your role will be a mixture of hands-on field and office based activities. Field based activities  include the supervision of soil bore and monitoring well installation, soil excavation, collection of soil, groundwater and surface water samples and analysis of geological/hydro geologic conditions.  Office based activities include planning, coordination and preparation for field work, data analysis, review and report preparation. Travel overnight including an occasional remote location will be required.

In this role you will use your demonstrated contaminated land assessment experience to deliver outstanding outcomes for PB’s clients. You will have a track record in delivering projects while focusing on time, budget and quality outcomes.
You must demonstrate a highly developed ability to prepare and/or produce or manage print and electronic material. You will have a demonstrated track record in working within a team of professional consultants and in meeting clients’ needs, as well as being a self starter for field work programs.

To be considered, you will have a degree in an environmental science (with a focus on earth sciences) or a related science such as geology, hydrogeology, or engineering. A postgraduate qualification in one or more of these fields complimented by relevant professional experience is preferred. Experience using programs such as the MS suite of software, ESDAT or Surfer is desirable.

At PB, you’ll be part of a supportive organisation that encourages continued development through ongoing training and wellbeing programs. You’ll have benefits such as the option to purchase additional annual leave, a Mentoring Program, International Accreditation Programs, Continuing Tertiary Assistance, Professional Growth Network, Travel Opportunities, Work/Life Balance, Health & Wellbeing Programs and PB is a Corporate Social Responsible organisation
