Environmental Education Officer (Berkshire)Salary: £11,750 (FTE £19,584) Contract: Temporary (March-August) / Part time (3 days/week) Based: Woolley Firs, near Maidenhead, Berks
The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
We are looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable educator to help deliver our programmes within Berkshire during the busy spring and summer seasons. Sessions will usually be based at Woolley Firs but travel to the Nature Discovery Centre in Thatcham and to schools around Berkshire may be necessary.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, experience delivering environmental education activities to Primary-aged children and will have a good general knowledge of wildlife and habitats.
