Global Action Plan (GAP) Ireland is a registered charity and part of the Global Action Plan International network dedicated to empowering people to live and work increasingly sustainably.

GAP Ireland are currently seeking an Environmental Education Assistant to assist with the delivery of their Youth programme on a 9 month Job Bridge placement.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist with the daily running of GAP’s youth environmental education programmes
• Assist with the delivery/facilitation of GAP’s schools environmental education programmes in Ballymun
• Help to develop educational resources and promotional materials to support the youth programmes
• Help to develop educational content for GAP’s website
• Keep abreast of key environmental issues, conduct research and other duties as required

On completion the intern will have attained skills and experience in: effective time management and organisation; communications; effective planning, delivery and evaluation of youth programmes and events as part of a team.

The candidate will also gain valuable experience in working in the not-for-profit sector.
