Environment Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
Summary: Entry level biologist position where highly motivated candidate will use environmental, ecological, geological, and biological background, theories, practices and existing technologies to assist with conducting field and technical work.  Will perform tasks with senior staff to include data collection, water quality surveys, sediment surveys, biological and threatened and endangered species surveys, marine, estuarine, and freshwater fish surveys, benthic work, state and Federal permitting, wetlands, eco-risk studies, and report preparation/technical writing. May also work with remediation staff.

One or more of the following disciplines:

Environmental - Assists staff and helps perform scientific environmental studies typically related to a specific site.  Assists with site visits and field observations.  May include report preparation and data compilation for analysis.

Geology - Assist with geologic projects involving collection of data from various studies and soil assessments. Researches geologic data and prepares reports and maps based on findings. Responsibilities may include oversight on drilling and well installation, collecting groundwater samples

Terrestrial Ecology/Wildlife biology - Assist with wetlands delineations, GPS, avian, herpetological, and other biological projects. Collect data, prepare reports and permits as needed.

Aquatic/Marine Ecology: Assist with coastal, estuarine, amd aquatic projects to include benthic sampling, fisheries surveys, habitat assessments, impact assessments, mitigation and restoration. 

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, marine biology, Geology or ecology. Field and GIS experience a plus. Ability to travel and work long hours when needed.
