A small consultancy, offering environmental support services, wishes to increase its capacity and requires a dynamic and motivated consultant to join the team. In the early stages you will be spending the majority of your time working on behalf of one client with the remainder of your time spent providing consultancy expertise to other existing and future clients in the areas of PPC, environmental and sustainability management, EIA, contaminated land assessments and EcoHomes assessments.
The Role is to increase capacity, and requires a dynamic and motivated consultant with detailed knowledge of appropriate sectors with the ability to diversify when required in order to support the needs of our clients. and consultancy experience is essential.
Ideally you’ll be educated to degree level or higher in a relevant subject and have 3 – 5 years experience in one or more of the following: environmental management systems and operations; EIA; contaminated land assessment and remediation.  The role will be based from Gloucestershire however there will be the need to visit clients, attend meetings and potentially work at client sites between Monday and Friday.
As part of a small consultancy, you will be required to contribute to all elements of work, and the role will also include some business development.  Any additional support that your experience can lend to the business and our services is of course beneficial, however the key skills required include:
Self motivation, Strong literacy and numeracy skills. Great interpersonal skills for use both within a small team, and to a wider client or professionally based audience. The experience and confidence to undertake all elements of your work, A sound knowledge of current issues affecting the environmental sector.
