URS Belgium bvba ( www.urscorp.eu ) is a subsidiary of URS Corporation, one of the world's leading engineering and environmental consultants. URS has two offices in Belgium, one in Holsbeek (Leuven) and one in Ghent, with 40 highly qualified specialists.


Within our Environmental Management Services department in Leuven, we're currently looking for an Environmental Consultant for the Wallonia / Brussels region.


You will report to the EMS manager who is also based in the Leuven office. You will assist our project managers and experts in large and midsized EMS projects such as:
• Technical studies
• Environmental Due Diligence projects
• Compliance reviews
• Environmental planning
• Implementation of EHS management systems
• Sustainability projects.

You will also lead small sized EMS projects in the same specialties 

- You have a master's degree in Engineering, Science or Applied Science (preferably Bio-Engineer, Civil Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or Chemist)
- You have at least 1-2 years of experience in environmental management; either built up within a consulting environment or within an industrial environment.
- Expertise in a health and safety area is an asset (e.g. Conseiller en prevention Niv. I ou II).
- You are a native French speaker and speak and write fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
- You are considered as a good communicator and are result-driven, with a proven ability to work as part of a project team and good problem-solving skills.
