We are proud to announce that we will be running another modern apprenticeship scheme for 6 people in South Wales. The successful applicants will be based at one of 3 depots in Crosshands, Cilfynydd or Monmouth. They will shadow experienced staff with a view to pursuing a career in countryside and environmental management. Successful applicants will attend college for one day a week. Working with Coleg Sir Gar we are offering a level 2 or 3 foundation apprenticeship in Environmental Conservation. The role will include:
What does an NRW apprenticeship involve?As an NRW apprentice you will spend four days a week working with our trained operatives and one day a week attending college. By the end of the apprenticeship you will have gained valuable experience and a vocational qualification. At the end of the apprenticeship you will able to apply for vacancies within NRW, however there is no guarantee of permanent employment with us.
