Change Agents UK is pleased to be working with Opportunity Peterborough and University Centre Peterborough to deliver the Peterborough Graduate Scheme (PGS), which forms part of the Peterborough DNA programme. This is one of 12 roles on the Peterborough Graduate Scheme (PGS).

Background

On opening in 1982, Queensgate was one of the first large scale Shopping Centres in the UK. With 90 plus stores, trading over 800,000 sq ft, the centre is in the top 20 largest UK Shopping Centres and boasts foot flow levels envied by most.

Queensgate is committed to the importance of taking a proactive, strategic approach to environmental management and in conjunction with the centre owners strives to be at the forefront of this area of management within its sector.

Objective

To increase retailer engagement around sustainability providing an opportunity to initiate an audit/ award scheme across three main areas: Energy, Water, and Waste. The award level is based around a criteria checklist and scores with reviews, and to create and offer improvement plans.
