HYDRO POWER-ful Opportunities
Hydroplan is a leading renewable energy consultancy based in the south of England and the Highlands of Scotland. We specialise in the design and construction of small to medium hydropower schemes, as well as other water related projects.
Our people are experts, enthusiastic, committed and full of energy. Without this valuable resource we would not be able to deliver the great service that our clients have come to expect. We are a small company with big, but sustainable, ambitions and now need to recruit the following people:
Environmental Assessment Officer • Compilation of Environmental Statements • Liaison and working with Environmental specialist sub contractors • Hydro/aquatic experience including flow monitoring would be useful • 3+ years experience would be useful • Good report writing and analytical skills • Ability to balance the needs of development and conservation.
Qualifications Required
In addition to the above specialist skills all candidates will need to have the following:- • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written • Good computer skills – MS Office • Flexible and practical approach – we need “hands-on” people • Self-motivation and a team player – your colleagues will be relying on you.
