Environmental Analyst  
Long Island Sound Habitat Restoration Coordination
East Setauket, NY

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking an Environmental Analyst (EA) to work with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Bureau of Marine Resources in East Setauket, NY to conduct activities associated with the Long Island Sound Study.  Work with multiple stakeholders to develop partnerships to restore Long Island Sound habitats.  Manage databases and use GIS information for program purposes.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in the natural sciences (biology, chemistry, ecology, environmental science.) Ability to work effectively with scientists, engineers and the public. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications required.  Excellent communication and organizational skills a must. Strong ArcGIS skills necessary.
