Environmental Analyst – Wildlife Biologist
Long Island City, NY

The Environmental Analyst will conduct coastal wildlife habitat use assessments to assess impact(s) from storms and post-storm recovery activities. Will develop new Best Management Practices (BMPs) to evaluate and monitor coastal wildlife response to storms as well as BMPs to post-storm sand management and resiliency preparedness. Will review permit applications, develop criteria and evaluate compliance for projects in New York City and Long Island.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, wildlife science, or ecology. Incumbent will have technical or professional experience in the field of environmental science, wildlife science, ecology, or biology. Ability to organize workload, and perform tasks in an accurate, conclusive and timely manner is required.
