Environmental Analyst – Marine Biologist The Environmental Analyst will support the Marine Resources Program in reviewing and approving rebuilding and storm recovery projects and also support the Spring Creek/Jamaica Bay project. Will conduct technical reviews and field inspections, review permit applications, and provide oversight for municipal programs that are administered by the state. Incumbent coordinates communications and collaborates with partner agencies, and assists with contract management and procurement of the project design and construction. Will assist regional natural resources supervisor in project management. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, marine science, or natural resources management. Incumbent will have technical or professional experience in the field of environmental science, biology, chemistry, earth science, or natural science. Ability to organize workload, and perform tasks in an accurate, conclusive, and timely manner is required.
