Environmental Analyst – Hudson River Fisheries Unit
New Paltz, NY

The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC)
is seeking an Environmental Analyst (EA) to work with Hudson River Fisheries
Unit in New Paltz, NY to work on a variety of technical assignments related
to long-term sampling programs for anadromous fish throughout the Hudson
River Estuary from New York City to the federal dam at Troy.  Will train
seasonal staff and coordinate and supervise maintenance and purchasing of
equipment.

The successful candidate will have a Masters’ Degree in biology, fisheries,
fish management or related field.   Fisheries or aquatic sampling experience
preferred. Experience operating boats, deploying and retrieving gear, fish
identification and enumeration, and collection of biological and water quality
data.  This position is not expected to extend beyond December 31, 2014.
