This key role within the Agricultural Systems Section contributes to the intellectual leadership of economic modelling research and assists in developing new areas of business for the Section. You will collaborate with biophysical scientists to provide a socio-economic dimension to their research and assist in the economic evaluation of AgResearch’s R&D portfolio.
This position requires a person with a PhD in economics, agricultural economics, management science or operations research (with economics bias), along with at least 2-3 years experience researching economics, policy or decision making; preferably in agricultural or ecological systems.
