NRW is pleased to be able to offer a 100 week fixed term opportunity to gain experience within the operational functions of Natural Resources Wales.  The role would suit someone who is passionate about the environment and aspires to apply for a potential full-time Environment, Conservation, Biodiversity, Fisheries or Conservation Officer post in the future. The successful applicants will be based at one of 5 offices across South Wales, including Cardiff, Monmouth, Llandarcy or Crosshands or Haverfordwest.

We are looking for individuals with either relevant qualifications in a scientific discipline or relevant experience within the environment or regulation sectors, to support our operational teams across South Wales.

Job Specific Criteria:

1)    Customer Relations - Experience of working within a customer-related field is necessary (Essential).

2)    A full UK driving licence (Essential).

3)     Education to degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (Desirable).

4)    Relevant professional accreditation qualification, such as professional membership (Desirable).

5)    Proven relevant work experience within the area of environment management or regulation or enforcement (Desirable).
