Our client a leading manufacturer of various chemicals is looking to fill the position of a SHEQ Manager for a site in KZN near to the South Coast. Requirements: · A relevant tertiary degree or diploma in Chemical/ Chemistry Engineering· A minimum of 5 years experience as EHSQ Manager specifically within a Chemical environment· Knowledge (both practical and theoretical) of ISO systems and process safety management· Deep knowledge and understanding of South African legislation governing EHS· Excellent communication skills· Excellent administrative skills· Ability to think conceptually Responsibilities · · Ensure that a professional Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Hygiene, Safety and Quality Assurance service is offered to line Management inclusive of training, systems management and communication and awareness programmes · Manage resources and processes both internally and externally in line with South African legislative requirements· Leading new step out programmes to advance EHS and advise management on implementation.
