Solway Foods was founded in 1989, and is today one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of fresh chilled, prepared salads with an annual turnover in excess of £120 million. It operates from 2 sites in Corby, Northants and Worksop, Notts and is owned by Northern Foods plc. The company is looking to employ a graduate as an Environment Adviser to maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) to ISO14001 standard, conduct environmental training and deliver resource efficiency projects. Previous Environment Advisers (former Student Force project workers) were taken on after the completion of their project on a permanent basis at several companies in the group and have gone on to develop their careers in other companies because of their experience gained. Solway Foods is keen to recruit a new environmental graduate to fill their position.
