Role Summary/PurposeThe Renewable Energy Policy Analyst will provide key analytical support to the Global Renewables Policy Team. Areas of support include data-collection and analysis of renewable energy incentives; research of employment, manufacturing, and other policy-related industry data; and research and analysis related to the emissions, life-cycle, and other environmental impacts of renewable energy policies.
Essential Responsibilities* Work with Policy/Modeling Centers of Excellence in coordinating data-collection for and analysis of renewable incentives

* Work with AWEA (American Wind Energy Association) and various internal groups to gather GE and industry-wide jobs, manufacturing, and other policy-related data·

* Work with AWEA and various internal groups to gather data related to the emissions, life-cycle, and other environmental impacts of renewable energy policies
Qualifications/Requirements· Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
· Prior policy analysis experience
Additional Eligibility QualificationsGE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
Desired Characteristics· Masters degree in the environmental sciences or , business marketing with a focus on Renewable Energy or Sustainability preferred.
· Ability to manage large data sets
· Excellent written communications skills
· Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
