The Cadmus Group, Inc. is seeking entry-level green building professionals for our Built Environment Division with special interest in energy efficient building policy and rating systems.
Responsibilities
Daily activities include supporting federal, state, municipal, and service & product provider energy programs, researching standards and codes, working with standard software packages to benchmark building energy use, creating and manipulating spreadsheets and databases, offering technical support to organizations, training and writing reports and other documents. This position involves extensive work with EPA’s ENERGY STAR platform for residential and commercial buildings.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver who is able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Requirements
Minimum requirements: • BS/BA in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Facility Management/Building Operations, Public Policy, Economics or related area of study • Related work or internship experience • Commitment to green building and sustainability • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Proven analytical skills • Ability to work well independently and in teams
Preferred
Optional but desirable attributes: • Experience with EPA’s ENERGY STAR Program • Familiarity with energy standards and codes • LEED AP
