Job Description:

As an Entry Level Environmental Planner - Irvine, CA you will be responsible for a wide range of environmental planning projects and impact analyses, such as CEQA and NEPA documents, including Initial Studies, Mitigated Negative Declarations, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Reports and Environmental Impact Statements.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Collect data to be used to support environmental documentation.
Conduct analytical tasks to support preparation of environmental documentation.
Prepare Initial Study checklists and write sections of environmental documents.
Work with project managers and project directors on various projects to assist in project coordination

Basic Qualifications:

4+ years College Degree (BS or BA).
1+ years of experience as an Assistant Environmental Planner.
Must have at least one year of experience in a planning related field or position.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point.
Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
