Ducks Unlimited Canada, the leader in wetland conservation, is looking for a confident, energetic and dedicated Engineering Technologist to join our team. You will inspect, design and build water control structures and assist in managing our inventory of projects – activities that appeal to you because you love working outdoors. 

At Ducks, we’re going places. You need to be an enthusiastic team player – a self-starter who can work with anyone, is capable of seeing the bigger picture and enjoys thinking out of the box.

Your minimum three years experience and knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic design, construction management, surveys and dam safety reviews and inspections make you the ideal candidate for this position, which is located in Regina, SK. You will report to the Head of Habitat Asset Management and will assist with wetland project management throughout Southern Saskatchewan.  You possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You are self motivated, enjoy a complex, changing environment and can manage numerous projects on tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • An engineering technology diploma
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Experience with GPS surveying and ArcMap is a definite asset
  • Willing to travel & work outdoors in inclement weather
  • A valid driver’s license
