Description

The SnapNrack PV Mounting System is an innovative line of photovoltaic (PV) solar racking specifically designed to reduce installation time and simplify your racking inventory. SnapNrack was developed in the field by a team of veteran solar engineers and installers with the goal of overcoming the limitations of conventional racking and ensuring quick, efficient installations.
 

The Engineering Intern position is available for a student interested in pursuing a career within the sustainable industry. 
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist solar designers and engineers with various tasks;
  • Perform site visits on sold systems;
  • Assist engineering staff in system designs;
  • Draft plans of photovoltaic systems;
  • Submit and pick up permit packages at various building departments;
  • Design and build testing platforms;
  • Develop design tools and methods to aid the engineering department;
  • Demonstrate ethics and professionalism at all times.
 
Requirements:
  • Must be a student in Engineering related discipline from a 4 year university;
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems;
  • Computer drafting experience;
  • Have excellent written and oral communications;
  • The ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks within a fast-paced implementation team;
  • Think critically and ability to solve problems;
  • Good judgment and analytical skills;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Customer service skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals;
  • Use standard office equipment such as personal computer, laser printer, copy machine, telephone, calculator, fax machine, etc;
  • Must pass Drug Test, Background Check and have a Clean Driving Record.
