Description
Engineering Intern CIC Manufacturing Assists with the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective manufacturing methods of building, testing and troubleshooting solar CIC assemblies. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Assists in manufacturing processes for the CIC production area. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct pm-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control, monitor, or modify the manufacturing process.
Requirements
Requirements: Must be a US Citizen or possess a Green Card. Junior or higher in pursuit of degree in engineering or physical science. Knowledge of/experience in electrical, semiconductor device behavior and test, and/or mechanical testing Data driven/results oriented with a high level of initiative and a desire to make a positive impact on a manufacturing organization Strong communication skills to ensure effective participation in cross-functional and interdepartmental teams Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to read, interpret and correct engineering drawings. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Mentors under a senior engineer.
