This position is responsible for the continuing success of Energy Trust or Oregon’s Existing Homes energy efficiency program for NW Natural Customers located in SW Washington. This will be accomplished through outreach and education to home owners, contractors and organizations that share common goals.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Educate  homeowners about Energy Trust resources available to make their homes more energy efficient
  • Support planning and delivery of outreach events including home owner and contractor trainings
  • Build relationships with contractors, community organizations, and local government in order to identify and work towards common energy efficiency goals.
  • Recruit local contractors into Trade Ally Network and support current trade allies in understanding program requirements and benefits to their business
  • Conduct quality control reviews of contractor installations and provide mentoring, as needed
  • Identify and inform marketing team of strategic messaging opportunities
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as will be assigned as the regional market for energy efficiency continues to develop.
  • Produce timely program reports for client and inform strategic planning
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, related field preferred
  • 3+ years outreach or sales experience
  • 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency, residential construction or remodeling with an emphasis on weatherization, HVAC, and/or energy conservation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, use of databases and Webinar software.
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from client appointments
  • Availability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
  • Must have outgoing personality and be detail oriented, self motivated, organized, have excellent written and verbal communication and  problem solving skills
  • Knowledge about messaging that will resonate with SW Washington community as well as media outlets preferred
  • Experience in use of energy use diagnostic equipment preferred.
