Primary responsibility is for work delivery, with possible leadership of some subtasks or tasks. Conducts analysis and assessment, primarily of energy-related proposals submitted under a variety of Federal Agency programs. Works under direction of Project Development and Finance Section management, in support of particular project leads. Work focuses on the technical and economic/finance aspects of proposed energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Work supports deployment of renewable energy systems, energy efficiency improvements, and large integrated energy projects.

Relevant PhD or equivalent relevant education/experience.

Or, relevant Master's Degree and 3 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.

Or, relevant Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.
Complete understanding and application of project management principles, concepts, practices and standards. Full knowledge of technical field and related disciplines.

Very good interpersonal, conflict resolution, teaming and communication skills.
Established track record in energy project/financial analysis and assessment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven client relations skills.
Bachelor’s Degree (mechanical, chemical, civil or electrical engineering and MBA preferred); 5 to 13 years experience in renewable energy and/or renewable energy project development. Some experience in energy project transaction due diligence, including assessment of economic/financial/tax elements, is preferred.
