Description

The research will focus on the explicit representation of non-CO2 emissions and their abatement potentials in the global energy-economy-climate model suite REMIND applied at the Potsdam-Institute for Climate Impact Research.

A background in Physics, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Economics, or a related field with a strong interest for inter-disciplinary climate related research is required.

Salary and benefits are according to a public service half position in Germany (E13/2 TV-L Ost).

We expect candidates for all positions to have a strong quantitative background and interest in applied modelling. Candidates should be proficient in English, and be able to demonstrate the potential for excellence in research.
