Energy and Sustainability Consultant

An interim full time role is available for 6 months to work on a range of energy and carbon related services to a diverse client base ranging from investors to corporates. You will have proven experience in energy & carbon management and have up to date knowledge of the key models and techniques being used currently when carrying out Energy Appraisals.

This opportunity may well lead onto other work and potentially longer term opportunities both with this project and at Upstream Sustainability Services, Jones Lang LaSalle and would suit a high calibre, pragmatic professional.

Our Upstream Sustainability Services team has over 14 years’ experience in helping clients to develop real estate sustainability strategies tailored to their business goals.

You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering the following:

• Energy reduction management
• Asset reviews & audit surveys
• Carbon Reduction strategies
• Complete understanding of construction technology, building services engineering and renewable energy solutions

In addition an understanding of the following would be desirable:

• Carbon profiling
• Component studies and options appraisals (CRoI)
• Life cycle costs
• Renewable energy payback analysis
• Payback (CRoI), NPV, DCF, smoothing & sinking funds 
• Financial impact of Sustainability and increasing ratings of environmental assessments (LEED, BREEAM) and EPC & DEC.

An Engineering, Building Services or FM qualification / background is preferred.
