Background:

CHANGE AGENTS UK have been awarded funding by the Local Strategic Partnership to deliver an exciting project that will work with householders across Rutland to tackle issues around fuel poverty and energy efficiency. Rising energy prices and cold temperatures are making it very difficult for many householders to stay warm and pay for their energy. To tackle this, funding has been gained to work with 100 householders, helping to reduce and manage their energy usage through improved energy efficiency, better use of heating controls and effective energy management. CHANGE AGENTS UK are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate change agent to help us deliver this high profile opportunity.

Objective:

This project aims to reduce fuel poverty, increase energy efficiency and create a co-ordinated countywide approach to energy issues across Rutland. The project is funded by the Local Strategic Partnership and will incorporate a range of measures and activity, working closely with stakeholders and householders in the county. We are aiming to reduce energy use by 10% in target households.
