Description

We are looking for a passionate all-rounder with experience in key areas of digital communications/marketing to support tEC colleagues and projects, by managing our day-to-day communications and raising the profile of our advice and services locally.  

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, able to present complex, nuanced information in an engaging, accessible way for a range of audiences. With experience in content creation and utilising social media platforms and website management software to build audiences and maximise reach. Self-motivation, creativity, initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail are key to this role. 

This is a great opportunity to work for an organisation that is passionate about helping people keep warm and well, reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality and encourage sustainability, at a time when these issues have never been more important. It is an exciting time for tEC communications as we re-develop our website and increase our self-service offer to meet our services’ growing demand. This is a chance to take on and mould a new role, and to develop and pioneer what we are doing with communications. 

Location: Southampton (hybrid working) 

Salary (per annum): £27,000 – £31,000 pro rata (depending on skills and experience) 

Type of opportunity: 15 months, 22.5 hours per week, maternity cover
