Energy & Environmental Consultant

URS Belgium is a subsidiary of URS Corporation, one of the world's leading engineering and environmental consultants. URS has two offices in Belgium, one in Holsbeek (Leuven) and one in Ghent, with 45 highly qualified specialists. In Belgium, URS focuses on soil and groundwater investigation and remediation, environmental consulting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate responsibility, nuclear services as well as decommissioning and demolition.

We are looking to recruit an Environmental/Energy Consultant to join our Environmental Management Services division in our Leuven office. This division is active in EHS Due Diligence and Transactions Assessments, Strategic and Operational EHS, Permitting, EHS Management Services, CSR projects, etc.

Responsibilities will include:

- Management of environmental & energy consultancy projects in the Flemish region and beyond
- Providing technical expertise in the fields of green buildings, and/or sustainability, and/or energy consulting, and/or CSR.
- Assisting Management teams for the growth and further development of URS activities.

Requirements :
- At least 5-7 years experience in environmental / energy management either in the consulting industry or within the industry
- Experience one of the following matters is considered as preferred: energy audit & management, LEED, BREAM, Energy Performance of Buildings, CSR.
- Ability to manage clients and projects.
- Good communicator and result-driven
- Proven ability to work as part of a project team and you are able to work in a structured work environment
- Essential - Native Dutch speaker, fluent in English.
