Employability Tutor/Assessor based in Sheffield

Salary: £17,874.48 - 26,560.54 per annum

We are looking for an organised and dedicated individual who can work in a busy environment to join our team based in Sheffield.

As an Employability Tutor you will be responsible for recruiting, supporting and motivating learners in working towards qualifications. You will be a qualified trainer, holding the PTTLS award and have the willingness to work towards the A1 unit within 18 months. You will track and monitor customer progression, keeping accurate records and assist students to create a portfolio of evidence. Deliver class room based training /assessments to ensure learners achieve qualifications and BTCV’s financial targets.

An ideal background would be within the further education or welfare to work sector as well as previous experience of training unemployed people would be an advantage. You will have experience of working within a fast-paced environment as well as working towards KPI’s. The ideal candidate will have good customer service skills and be able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team. You will possess excellent IT skills and have the ability to prioritise your own workload effectively.

35 hours per week
