The Electric Vehicle Services Certified Electrician reports to the Regional Operations Manager and will provide leadership and technical expertise in the installation of equipment and devices related to electric vehicle charging systems.
Responsibilities
Design, size and install residential 240VAC service, feeder and branch circuits
Design, size and install residential electric vehicle charging systems
Upgrade electrical servicing equipment
Install/replace load centers and panel boards
Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits
Identify and correct NEC code violations
Perform site assessments and create estimates when needed
Work safely and in accordance with safety requirements
Communicate effectively with customers and management.
Independently manage materials and ensure that all equipment and materials issued is accounted for and in good condition
Support the ongoing growth and improvement of the SolarCity Electric Vehicle Services team
Requirements
Should be a state certified electrician but will considerer registered electrician trainees.
