Electrical Engineer, New Jersey, USA

My client is a leading solar photovoltaic (PV)  project developer. They provide on-grid and off-grid residential, commercial, industrial and utility scale applications around the US solar PV market and a looking to recruit an electrical engineer to join their team in New Jersey.

Core Criteria:
My client is looking for an experiecne electrical engineer with solar PV projects experience to work on their utiliy-scale projects.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Lead engineer on programs involving power electronics system and detailed design
• ·         lead design engineer in the areas of concept, hardware design and component selection
• ·         Working with vendors to develop special components
• ·         Working with manufacturing to build prototypes, perform tests, software validation and certification
• ·         Troubleshooting as well as control strategy development
• ·         Performing calculations for electrical loads, AC and DC voltage drops, conduit and conductor sizing, fault current, one-line diagrams and over current protection devices

Education:-

• ·         Must a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

Core Requirements:-

• At least 4-5 years relevant technical experience
• Must have Inverter design experience  

• ·         Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detecting realistic solutions

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

Key Skills:-

Solar PV, electrical engineering degree, PV systems experience, large-scale project experience.
