Electrical Engineer, New Jersey, USA

My client is amongst the top 5 solar PV(photovoltaic) developers in the US. They have extensive experience in the engineering, procurement and construction in commercial and utility scale projects nationally upward of 500kW and are currently looking for a strong project engineer with experience in utility scale projects to bring on board.

Position Overview:

My client is currently looking for an experienced project engineer to bring on board  during and exciting part of their growth phase. A successful individual will have a background in electrical engineering with experience working on utility scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Attend client meetings in order to assess the relevant needs and to advise clients on viability of projects
• ·         Will be commissioning large scale solar power plants.
• ·         Producing detailed technical designs
• ·         Be responsible for budget control and documentation.
• ·         Will have to co-ordinate with project managers so as to ensure all requirements are met
• ·         Ensure that all projects are met to strict deadlines thereby ensuring that a high level of client satisfaction is maintained

Education:

• ·         Will be educated to BSc level in electrical engineering or related field of study

Core Requirements:

• ·         Will have 2-3 years experience in engineering and development of utility scale projects
• ·         Will have extensive knowledge and experience of AutoCad and in the production of construction period plans.
• ·         Must have a strong understanding of large scale solar project development
• ·         Will adopt a proactive approach to your work and be able to work individually and take the lead when necessary.
• ·         Will be willing to travel nationally as required for projects
• ·         Will have degree level qualification in electrical engineering or related field

• ·         Must have experience working on site
