Vestas Wind Systems A/S has been successful in producing, selling and servicing wind turbines all over the world since 1978. Vestas Central Europe as one of the well established Business Units is responsible for all sales and service related activities in Germany, Benelux, Austria, most countries in Eastern Europe and South-East Africa. For our department Technology – Power Plant Engineering we are looking Electrical Engineer (m/f) with the following job profile:
Responsibilities and tasks:
  • Electrical pre-engineering incl. EPC and BoP Quality control support aligned with Tech R&D
  • Report potential new CIM cases and participate in CIM Case solution development
  • Provide support to SBU Technology Power Plant Sales and -Operations, Construction and Service
  • Proactively make Electrical Engineering competences available to Sales, Construction and Service
  • Monitor market requirements to support market enablement

Qualifications and work experience:

  • Masters in Electrical engineering – including interdisciplinary technical experience
  • 2 - 5 years of electrical power system engineering experience
  • Solid commercial/Business development experience and experience from exposure to/understanding of customers in either sales or service
  • Strong management, cooperation and communication skills to ensure understanding of expectations, performance goal, and progress in a global business
  • Six Sigma Belt experience
  • Fluent in English
